Signs it's time

Your unit usually tells you first

Small symptoms tend to grow into bigger repairs. If any of these sound familiar, a service is a sensible next step.

A clean system doesn't have to work as hard — which is kinder to the unit and to the people breathing its air.

  1. 1Airflow feels weakRooms take longer to cool, even on a low setting.
  2. 2A musty smell on start-upOften a sign of build-up on the coil or in the drain tray.
  3. 3Water dripping indoorsA blocked drain line is a common and fixable cause.
  4. 4New noisesRattling, clicking or buzzing that wasn't there before.
  5. 5Blowing warm airMay point to low refrigerant or a failing component.

Questions

Good to know

How long does a routine service take?

Most wall-mounted split units take around an hour each. Deep washes and ducted systems take longer — we'll give you a time window when we confirm your booking.

Do I need to be home?

Someone over 18 needs to let us in and show us the units. You're welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

Will it make a mess?

We use drop sheets and wash bags to catch water and grime, and we wipe down every surface we touch before we leave.

Which brands do you service?

We work on most common residential brands. Mention your model in the booking notes if you know it, and we'll confirm before the visit.

Is a chemical wash safe with pets and children?

We use cleaning solutions intended for indoor coils and rinse them through thoroughly. We simply ask that pets are kept out of the room while we work.
